Black and white photo of a LK Burket building next to the railroad tracks with freight car in front of the entrance to the building. Superimposed on the bottom corners of the photo are pictures of the Burket’s: Lee (1899) on the left and Elmer (1889) on the right. On the side of the building are these words: Coal, Grain feed, Hay, Straw, etc. L.K. Buket & Bro., Wayne.

Printed on the front of the postcard: “An Announcement.” Printed on the rear: “A Special Day Bike No Other / We’ll be on holiday Friday, August 6 / in celebration of our 107th birthday. / It’s our 3rd annual Elmer Day. / Elmer Burket joined his brother, B.K., to found our company in 1886. / Traditional Elmer Day festivities / include flying kites, sitting in the shade, / making lemonade with the kids, / gazing at the moon. / Best wishes to you from all of us at / L.K.
