Handwritten on the rear: “Schultz home at St.Davids / about 1893 (bought from Frances Fenimore) / Built for Emilie Sayen & George W. Schultz / as a wedding gift from her father / Wm. Henry Sayen. stone came from / quarry in field next to it.
