Her parents initials, and the initials / of her brothers and sisters are in the sampler." On the back, in pen: "Sampler of Amelia Pugh (1776-1843) wife of / Daniel Baugh, made at the age of 19 when / she lived in her father's house, the present / W.A. Ringler house at N.W. corner Lancaster Pike. / Farm Roads Wayne. The Ringler house was built in 1806 / they probably lived on the site of the Finley house -- KHC." On the back in pencil: "original owned (1959) by / Mrs. T. Wistar Brown / Gladwyne, Pa. / (descendent)"
