Category: Collection: F.A. Gugert
Francis Albert Gugert (1873 – 1939) moved to Wayne with his family in the 1880s. Their home was located on the northwest corner of West Lancaster and Bellevue Avenues, adjacent to the Bellevue Hotel. Gugert later moved to Oak Lane in North Wayne and was a practicing architect, having partnered with David Knickerbacker Boyd and Victor Abel in the firm Boyd, Abel & Gugert. Based on writing on the sleeves in which these glass plate negatives were found, they date from the 1890s.
